Goal

To equip Nurses with the theoretical concepts to safely insert a catheter.

Objectives

  • Understand the indications for inserting a catheter
  • Prepare for and perform the procedure
  • Demonstrate awareness in aseptic techniques and other specific processes to insert a catheter
  • Know theoretical concepts to inserting a catheter
