Goal

To equip Nurses with the theoretical concepts to safely manage a supra pubic catheter

Objectives

  • Understand the indications for a supra pubic catheter
  • Know effective safe and effective theoretical concepts when changing or managing a supra pubic catheter
  • Prepare for and perform the procedure
  • Demonstrate awareness in policies & procedure guidelines regarding the supra pubic catheter
  • Be able to discuss and know concepts in relation to supra pubic catheter management
