Objectives

At the end of the session the participant should be able to:

  • Identify the indications of palliative care
  • Implement a collaborative approach with the necessary team members that will include palliative care planning
  • Ensure family and significant others involvement in care planning
  • Ensure appropriate legal personnel have been involved in issues regarding wills and property
  • Advanced care directives
  • Other palliative care needs person centred focused
