Drug Calculations & Administration Refresher

Target Audience 

Registered Nurses & Endorsed Enrolled Nurses


Goal 

This package is aimed at refreshing the Nurses’ knowledge and understanding in all the aspects of safe drug administration and procedures.


Objectives 

At the end of the session the participant should be able to:

  • Demonstrate their ability to safely administer medication
  • Observe the 7 Rights and the 3 Checks of Medication Administration
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately calculate drug dosages
  • Acknowledge their understanding of techniques regarding injectables
