Goal

To equip Nursing staff with knowledge and understanding regarding conducting ACFI assessments and documentation.


Objectives

At the end of the session the participant should be able to:

  • Correctly conduct ACFI assessments
  • Document all the ACFI forms correctly
  • Demonstrate their understanding of the different ACFI domains (Activities of Daily Living, Behaviour and Complex Health Care)
  • Identify when to conduct an appraisal
  • Highlight the recent changes in ACFI
  • To demonstrate understanding of the Veterans Supplement in Residential Care
